A day does not go by without contact from a former student, parent or employee recalling their days at ISS/SAMS or wishing to get reconnected with the school community.

This May, ISS is delighted to host 50th year/anniversary events so members of the ISS/SAMS community – present and past – can come together around the May 17th national holiday. It’s a chance to meet up with friends and teachers, revisit places that once created vivid memories and leave with a few stories to take home.

Accommodation

Visitors returning to Stavanger after a few decades will find quite a few new places to stay during their time here. Explore your options and book a hotel/B&B on TripAdvisor.

ISS has secured a special rate at the Radisson Blu Atlantic Hotel downtown. Contact Renata at +47 51 76 00 23 or renata.rebo@radissonblu.com to reserve a room. We recommend mentioning your affiliation to ISS’ 50th weekend and booking as soon as possible given the holiday weekend.

Airport Transportation

In addition to the easily-accessible taxi options, there is a comfortable airport bus/shuttle that departs from the Stavanger Airport in Sola every 15-30 minutes (depending on the day and time). It stops near a number of hotels. Inquire with your accommodation of choice.
